Many people have asked about my nickname recently, and I could have sworn I had blogged it before but I didn't link it anywhere, so it's been lost.
So, now I'll (re)create the explanation.
Back in 2001 or so when I was working at Radio Shack with my friend Alarin, I was also playing a game called Planescape: Torment, one of the best D&D computer games I've played. In it there is a character named Dakkon, who's from the Plane of Chaos. His sword is made out of a material called "Karoch" (care-rock ... kinda) When Dakkon would get a critical hit he'd say "Karoch sings true"
I muttered that at work one day and
alarin612 heard it, thinking I had said Karak Singedru (which later became the name of a fire priest I played in a game ...) and I further twisted that to KarakSindru.
So, there ya go.
